A Very Happy Week!
We had an action-packed week and weekend! My birthday was on Thursday, so the girls and Philip helped me celebrate with lots of presents and special attention.

This weekend we went to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. The best part is-we went with some of our favorite friends. This group of us will always share a special bond. We all became friends in Sugar Land, right out of college, from many different places, with no kids (yet), active in the church, we made many special memories together, did Bible Studies together, ... such a fun history with these families! And then....there were kids. The weekend trips became fewer and farther between (although we did all go to Destin together), the weekly Bible studies slowed down, the conversations were shorter with more interruptions...
But through it all, we have remained special friends. It is so neat to have people who have known you for so long and have watched your family grow from 2 to 5. I love these families!!
So, there were 11 couples and 24 kids there. Crazy fun!!

I am thankful to be these sweet little girls' Mom!!
And I am so thankful for my wonderful mom!!
