A Very Merry Christmas!
Santa visited our house a day early because on Christmas Eve we headed to Houston. The girls were so excited about Christmas this year which made it really fun!
Here are the girls putting water out for the reindeer. They were thrilled the next morning when the water was red from Rudolph's nose!
Cookies for SantaMacy's favorite gift from Santa-a new scooter and a helmet. She's been asking for these for quite a while! And who knew that Harper would be oh-so-excited about a Monster truck??!!
She loves that thing! We got to spend a few days in Houston with my family!
We had a great time and the girls enjoyed all their new toys and stuff!!Macy and Harper had a great time with Riley and Brooks! Boy, do we miss them!My brother's ferret Mr. Bo Jangles was a hit as usual...(with everyone but me and Hollie!)Macy and Uncle Tay TayDespite the oodles of presents the girls received, this box kept the kids busy for over an hour! Brooks just cracks me up!!

They did lots of singing on their new microphones and dancing on their new dance cam!And Big Daddy found a way to take everyone for a ride at the same time! Genius!Honey cooked a great meal (with a little "help" from the rest of us)
On Saturday we drove to Houma (thanks, Mom & Dad, for braving it in your car with us for 6 hours!!) to see my Gran and my aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was so good to see them, and the girls were very loved on (and spoiled). Macy and Harper loved the attention!
My Aunt Sherrie was a big hit! The girls followed her around constantly.
They especially loved her 20 cats and 5 dogs!!

We flew back to Nashville on Sunday and were all exhausted, but thankful for a wonderful Christmas!

Sounds like a fun trip -- except the part about the cats. 20? Really? I'm incredibly freaked out by even just one. I can't imagine that many together. Makes me paranoid...

I'm glad that you guys made it back for Christmas. Looks like you had a great time. Maybe one day soon we will all be able to get together like the olden days at Bayou Blue at Grandmothers.

Looks like it was very merry! I love Harper and the monster truck! Now Cole can't wait to come visit to play. How about at the end of Feb, for several weeks? Is that still OK?! Ha! Love and miss y'all!
