We Haven't Floated Away...Yet!!!
The storms have been pounding Nashville since Friday. Lots of rain!! It's hard to believe. Luckily we live on the top of a hill, but our front yard is a rushing creek.
We did have one mishap in our front yard. Poor tree. Luckily it fell toward the street and not our house!
And it narrowly missed our new mailbox. Whew!
All this rain gives Lexi a bad hair day!
Our power was out all day and finally returned about 3:00. Yea!
Thank you so much for all the phone calls and texts with those of you who were concerned about us and our safety!! We appreciate it!!
Philip and some of his friends went to Atlanta for the Astros/Braves game Friday and Saturday. Luckily they came home very late in between storms safely!

Holy cow! I had no idea the storms were that bad! If you see a boat float by, grab it a ride it to Fort Worth. We want to see you badly.
PS. I don't think Lexi is having a bad hair day...I LOVE it!!!
That is CRAZY! Reminds me of the massive amount of snow we had this winter. Please stay safe and dry!

now that it's been so long, I can comment on the rapids down your yard. Would have been awesome to get on a tube and float down.
