Good News on Coley!!!
Coley has reflux. They have run numerous tests and diagnosed little Coley with reflux. The doctor will not say for sure that reflux was the specific cause of the apnea, but it is very likely. Coley is off the ventilator still and breathing well on her own. They are still monitoring her closely, but are out of the ICU and into a private room. She will most likely be able to go home on Friday!!! I know David and Whitney are ready. They will send some monitors for Coley home with them.
When running tests and scans, they found that one of Coley's kidneys is slightly enlarged-unrelated to the apnea. They are going to do an ultrasound on it, and then will check it again in a month or so. So keep that in your prayers.
Although it is not great, they are somewhat relieved that her diagnosis is reflux-something treatable. Continue to pray for them as they bring her home. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, everyone!!!!

i'm so thankful they got some answers. adelaide has reflux too (that is what we finally found out from all the tests, etc.)
we will continue to pray for sweet baby coley!
