Lexi's First Week at Home
has been a success! Philip stayed home from work for the first week. It was great to have his help with everything. We all were sad to see him go back to work!
When he went back, my mom came to help out! It was so nice to have her here...especially since I ended up having an ear infection and sinus infection, and Macy and Harper both had double ear infections. My mom played and played with Macy and Harper and helped out with Lexi when Harper would let her put her down. So far (I realize she's just over a week old), Lexi is a good baby! She eats well and sleeps well. I am not naive enough to think this is how the rest of her life will be, but I am enjoying it for now! Macy and Harper are still so in love with their little sister. Macy begs to hold her all day.

I cherish every hour I get to spend with all of you! It was so much fun being with the girls and getting to know little Lexi. She is so precious as are Macy and Harper. I miss you all already! Thanks for giving me the honor and privilege to spend those precious moments with all of you. Your girls are so lucky and blessed to have such Godly and loving parents.

Moms are the best. I'm glad she was able to come visit and help out. And that stinks that you all were SO sick! No fun.
Lexi is so sweet. She definitely looks like a precious little Houston girl. I can't wait to meet her! And I can't wait to see the rest of you guys either. I miss you all so much!
Heidi, you amaze me! What an incredible mom you are to those girls, they are so blessed to have you. They will have SO many fun and special memories as they grow older.

She's so grown up already. I can't believe how alert she is. And she looks just like her mommy. I would come help if I were in the US. MAybe when I get back I can fly down and come see you guys and help out for a bit. Give you another break.
